FLT Driver

We are looking for FLT Drivers to work for our Client based in Rothley. They are a multinational company with sites in Leicester and Rothley and are passionate about the future of our planet. As an FLT Driver, you will play an integral part in the supply chain operations. The role of the FLT Driver is a temp to perm role and if you would like more information on the FLT Driver, please read below.

Pay:

• £11.59 per hour

Hours:

• 6am to 2pm OR 2pm to 10pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults
• Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with work instruction
• Proactively maintain housekeeping within the warehouse to ensure space optimisation
• Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
• Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
• Operate MHE equipment including using clamp and bale attachments to move bale and reel stock around the warehouse
• Move pallets around the facility and store them in the correct storage bay
• Prepare the loading area in compliance with the loading schedule & documentation
• Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
• Load trucks as and when required
• Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
• Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance or other MHE license is desired
• Team player
• Experience driving a fork-lift truck
• Good communication
• Experience working in a busy warehouse
