As a nursery manager you will oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children. Your role will also include staff management, curriculum development, and liaising with parents to maintain strong relationships and a high standard of care.

Salary: 27,000 - 32,000

Location: Leicester, LE5

Hours: Full time

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring efficiency and adherence to all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract talented and passionate staff members.
• Mentor and manage a team of early childhood educators, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
• Ensure the nursery offers a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
• Develop and oversee a dynamic curriculum tailored to early childhood development best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, addressing concerns and celebrating milestones.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.

To be considered for this role:

You must have -

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery or early childhood education setting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and education best practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications in early childhood education or child development.
