As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a skilled Workshop Engineer to strengthen our service team.
Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of plant machinery, including excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Perform inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostics using advanced tools and technology
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
- Work collaboratively with the field service team and support the workshop manager in daily operations
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including parts used and job completion times
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the workshop environment
Skills & Experience Required: - Proven experience as a Workshop Engineer or similar role, ideally within the plant machinery or heavy equipment industry
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Relevant industry qualification
