Sales Advisor

We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join a family-run business at one of their sites in Oadby.

This is a sales role based on the shopfloor but also includes developing new business over the phone.

This role is Monday-Saturday, with a day off in the week, so Saturday availability is required.

An insight to the role:
Customer-facing, this role is based on the shopfloor, assisting customers in the shop with their enquiries and product specifications.
In times where the shop is quiet, you will be looking at business development techniques, generating new business for external contracts.
Speaking on the phone to customers or contractors.
Suggesting suitable products for the customers needs.

We are looking for someone who has:
Previous customer service or sales experience, ideally customer-facing.
Confidence with sales calls.
Good interpersonal skills, communicating effectively over the phone and face-to-face.
A friendly demeanour, willing to help with customer enquiries.

Monday-Friday hours are 09:00-17:30 and Saturday hours are 09:00-17:00. Approximately 1 in 6 Saturdays you will have off by default, and the day off in the week can be discussed.

The salary for this position is 25,000.
