Maintenance Engineer

With the opening of a new factory in the spring of 2025 we are looking for 4 multi-skilled maintenance engineers to look after and maintain the new site. The business has grown organically over the last 8 years by introducing their own lines alongside supplying to major supermarkets throughout the UK.

Working a 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern, you will be part of a growing business that really values their staff, this is shown by the annual reward scheme which is voted for by your peers, top prize of £10,000 with lots of other prizes along the way.

Skills & Experience required to become a Multi - Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Engineering apprenticeship or academic and practical qualifications
• Electrical Bias
• 2 years experience within maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Ideally worked within a food environment, or FMCG background.
• High levels of literacy and numeracy are required

Overview of responsibilities of a Multi - Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Planned and reactive maintenance to the plant machinery.
• Modify and update PPM system on a daily basis to ensure engineering information is up to date and accurate.
• Provide pro-active service and support for production and factory services.
• Train and assist production to deliver efficient machine setup, and effective start-ups.
• Manage own self to meet company objectives to agreed timescales.

• 1.5x over time
• 23 shifts holiday
• Working 4 on 4 off (4 days, 4 off, 4 nights) 6pm-6am or a 4 on 4 off nights only pattern.
