Job Role: Powder Coater
Location: Wigston
Shift: 7am to 4pm Mon to Thu / 7am to 12:30pm on Fri
Pay Rate: 12.50 to 14.00 per hour

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join an established fabrication business in the South Leicestershire area. The Powder Coater will be responsible for applying decorative and protective finishes to products using a variety of spray guns and techniques. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare the surface of materials to be coated
• Select and mix the appropriate powders for the job
• Apply powder coating using spray guns and other techniques to achieve desired finish
• Ensure consistent and quality coating application
• Monitor equipment for proper functioning and perform routine maintenance
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Powder Coater or similar role
• Knowledge of different types of powder coating materials and application methods
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good physical stamina and dexterity
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment

Day-to-day:

As a Powder Coater, you will spend your days preparing surfaces for coating, mixing powders, and applying coatings using spray guns and other methods. You will ensure that each product meets quality standards and maintain a safe and organized work environment. This role requires precision, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
