HOUSING OUTREACH WORKER HYBRID WORKING
LOCATION: Leicester (and surrounding areas)
SALARY: £15.78 per hour PAYE + £2.29 per hour holiday pay
HOURS: 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Temporary (4 months with potential for longer opportunities)

Overview:
- This role involves supporting vulnerable tenants with a variety of complex needs.
- Covering a patch of properties predominantly in Leicester (with some work across Birmingham, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire), and working from home between/after visits.
- You will work closely with the Regional Housing Officers to provide greater contact and support to our tenants, to enable them to maintain their tenancies. We are looking for a communicative, well-organized individual to work this wide geographical area.
- In the role you will be making a difference daily to improving the lives and outcomes of our tenants.
- Providing effective tenancy and resident management in line with policies and procedures.
- Dealing with anti-social behaviour, tenancy changes and supporting tenants to maintain their tenancies.
- Developing, building and maintaining relationships with tenants and other key stakeholders to ensure the effective management of housing services.
- Playing a key role in helping our tenants maintain their tenancy
- Ensuring fire safety and water safety remedial actions are completed & assisting regional housing officers with annual visits

- Able to build excellent relationship with customers and colleagues
- Highly competent with Microsoft Office
- Highly competent with Open Housing or a similar data base
- Full UK driving license and access to a car.
