Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join this manufacturing business in Hamilton, Leicester. You ll be based in a state-of-the-art paper mill and converting facilities, there s lots to get your teeth into, both PPM & reactive maintenance duties.
The role's core focus of the role is to provide electrical support for both Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and efficient breakdown responses. Woking in the papermill you will be exposed to heavily industrial machinery there's lots of variety to get your teeth into.
Working a 2 days, 2 nights 4 off shift pattern you'll be earning a salary of just over £50,000.

Duties of this Maintenance Engineers Role:

• Provide an Electrical engineering service to the production team to achieve minimal down time
• Proactive for carrying out planned maintenance duties
• Insuring you are commercially aware of budgets to ensure there is the right amount of spares
• Look at ways to continuously improve efficiencies and downtime
• Collect and compile all data as requested
• To encourage and motivate apprentices and offer assistance.

Qualifications and skills needed for this Maintenance Engineer.

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 Engineering Qualification.
• Experience within a fast paced environment
• Experience in a medium or heavy industry is preferable.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines & under pressure.
