A rare opportunity for a Financial Controller to make the step into a Financial Director's role within a growing SME business in the manufacturing sector. Based in Leicester with a salary of £70-90,000. Hybrid.

Due to impressive growth this is a new role within the business and a prime opportunity for someone to go in and streamline the finance function. Responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic input to decision-making processes, and spearheading the company's ongoing expansion efforts.

The Role

The responsibilities of the Finance Director include:

• Financial Strategy & Leadership, Planning & Reporting
• Management of the Finance Team of 3
• Implement & develop a new finance system & identify process improvement
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure a robust financial control framework across the business
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics

About You:

• Previous experience within a similar position
• Great opportunity for a financial controller to step up
• Overseeing new system implementation
• Qualified ACCA or CIMA level
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence and work collaboratively with others
