Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring product performance, safety, and manufacturability.
  • Manage and mentor a small team, driving new product development (NPD) projects.
  • Conduct design reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain project focus.
  • Support senior engineers with career development and growth.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in mechanical engineering, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), CAD, and complex mechanical systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with customer-facing technical projects and complex customised products.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a lead design role.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, materials, and quality systems.
