We are assisting our client, a leading Joinery Contractor with over 80 million turnover in their search for an experienced No.1 Joinery Project Manager to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. With a strong background in joinery and project management, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of joinery projects, from planning and procurement to execution and final handover.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in coordination with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure joinery requirements are fully integrated into the overall project plan.

  • Lead and manage a team of joiners, carpenters, and subcontractors, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to complete their tasks.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

  • Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or changes in scope.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and controlled throughout the project.

  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks ensuring all joinery work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.

  • Ensure that all joinery activities comply with health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and submit regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and any issues.

  • Degree in Construction Management/Joinery or equivalent experience may be considered.

  • 5+ years of experience in joinery or carpentry, with at least 3 years in a project management role.

  • Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and tools.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
