Assistant Accountant

RECfinancial is exclusively partnering with a well established Leicestershire based market leading business in their search to appoint a new Assistant Accountant in a role which will focus on the businesses fixed assets.

The role is based at an impressive office which is commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire. The business does offer hybrid working.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this exciting Assistant Accountants role will focus on the firm's Fixed Assets. Responsibilities will include ownership / maintenance of the fixed asset ledger, postings, fixed assets recs, capex additions, balance sheet recs, assisting with year end and working on ad hoc projects.

To be considered for the role it's likely that you will be in either an Account Assistant or Assistant Accountants role and your responsibilities will be in Fixed Assets. The client will consider candidates who are either studying or qualified for the AAT qualification or working towards CIMA or ACCA.

The role is based in a business which is people focused and they have a low turnover of staff. There's a real feeling of everyone being in it together. They focus on developing and growing their staff into bigger roles in the future.

The role offers hybrid working and full study support if required.

The role has a salary range of between 30,000 and 35,000 plus benefits.
