As a Legal Cashier, you ll play a vital role in managing the financial operations of the business, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules and contributing to the smooth running of the firm s accounts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily transactions, including client and office accounts.
• Reconciling bank accounts and preparing financial reports.
• Processing payments, receipts, and transfers in compliance with SRA regulations.
• Supporting the preparation of VAT returns.
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping and assisting with audits.
• Handling queries from clients and staff regarding financial matters.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Legal Cashier, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
• A solid understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and compliance requirements.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
