Position: Fabricator/Welder
Location: Leicester
Salary: 17 Per hour

My client are a leading company in Electrical and Mechanical Systems , known for their commitment to quality and precision arelooking for a skilled fabricator/welder to join their growing team. 
Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers and Project Engineers in their preparation of quotes as a Fabricator/Welder
• Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS).
• Observe the requirements of any Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders.
• Follow efficient work procedures and techniques.
• Engage in the determination of work rotas and assignment of tasks.
• Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variation.
• Ensure all tools and equipment in use are certified and/or calibrated.

Requirements:

• 5-years’ experience in MIG & TIG welding and fabrication demonstrable by associated qualifications and training.
• Light welding and general fabrication experience for electrical containment systems and associated stainless steel support structures.
• Ability to work from technical drawings as a Fabricator/Welder
• Be capable of drafting simple fabrication drawings for customer acceptance.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good understanding of current H&S requirements for welding and other hot works.
