Experienced Steel Fabricator

Job Description: As an Experienced Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality heavy steel fabrications. This role requires a strong background in fabricating heavy materials, with a focus on precision and quality. Experience with balustrades and steel staircases is highly desirable. You will work within a team environment to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate heavy steel components and structures according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately complete projects.
• Perform quality checks to ensure that all fabrications meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in heavy steel fabrication.
• Experience with fabricating balustrades and steel staircases is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must have experience in heavy fabrications; sheet metal experience alone is not sufficient.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Hours:

• Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday.
• Early finish on Fridays.
• Overtime is available but optional.

Rate of Pay:

• Depending on experience. Rate reviewed after 6 months.

Note: Only candidates with experience in heavy steel fabrication will be considered. Sheet metal experience alone is not suitable for this position.
