We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our dynamic and busy finance team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead and manage the finance function and team, ensuring smooth financial operations and strategic financial oversight Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership:
  Lead and manage one direct report, reporting to the Chief Executive.
• Financial Monitoring:
  Oversee and manage all financial activities
• Budgeting and Reporting:
  Produce all budgets, management, and financial reports in collaboration with the Trustee Board Treasurer.
• Strategic Support:
  Prepare and deliver accurate, timely management information and financial reports to support strategic decision-making and operational performance.
• Budget Analysis:
  Maintain detailed analysis of budgets, including pay, non-pay, income, and capital
• Financial Management:
  Prepare regular management accounts and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconciliations and Analysis:
  Perform account reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and variance analysis.
• VAT and Claims:
  Prepare and submit VAT returns, handle claims, and conduct balance sheet reviews.

What you'll need to succeed

Part of Fully qualified accountant with experience of Management Accounting, good knowledge of MS Office suite, in particular Excel
