Hays Education is working with a rural school near Loughborough to find a Year 1 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team as soon as possible until the August 2025. The school are looking for a teacher with excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and is confident working with SEND pupils. Your new roleIn your new job as a Teacher with Hays, you will work on a long-term basis as a Year 1 Class Teacher including planning and marking alongside a Teaching Assistant who has a great relationship with their class. You'll work collaboratively to foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.
What you need to succeedTo be successful in your new job, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience working with Key Stage 1 pupils. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with strong experience in Key Stage 1.
You'll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support SEND and EAL pupils. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school ready to build relationships quickly!
