Bricklayer

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Bricklayers to join our team in Leicester, UK. This position is eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship and provides a competitive salary that meets UK visa eligibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks or other masonry units to construct walls, arches, chimneys, and various other structures.
• Mix mortar or grout precisely according to project specifications.
• Cut or shape bricks using hand tools or power tools as required.
• Align bricks or masonry units with plumb lines, levels, or straightedges to ensure precision.
• Apply mortar between bricks or masonry units using trowels for clean, professional joints.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or masonry units as necessary.
• Clean excess mortar from finished surfaces for polished results.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use protective equipment when necessary on-site.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bricklaying or masonry work.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in reading blueprints or project plans.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently when required.
