Location: Leicester, UK

Salary: 12.49 - 18.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full time, permanent

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker's to join our team in Leicestershire.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

The ideal person for this Residential Support Worker position will:

Experience working with children and young people

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues

Empathy and patience in dealing with challenging situations

Must have a valid driver's license and access to a car

As a Residential Support Worker your tasks and duties will include:

Provide emotional and physical support to children and young people in a residential setting

Assist in the development and implementation of care plans for each individual

Promote a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people

Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other professionals involved in the care of the children

Ensure that all safeguarding procedures are followed and reported appropriately

Encourage and support children and young people in their educational, social, and personal development

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each individual's progress and activities
