Broster Buchanan are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a Leicester based listed organisation who are looking to recruit a Head of Transactional Finance, on an initial 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the CFO, the Head of Transactional Finance will will be responsible for overseeing all aspects
of transactional finance to drive the company s financial strategy and planning. The individual
will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible
risks and investments.
Key Duties will include:
- Lead our experienced financial transactions teams including Sales Ledger, Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and revenue reconciliation, monitoring performance through KPIs and restructuring as appropriate to create a high performing team
- Develop and nurture internal relationships through business partnering and identifying opportunities for greater collaboration including documentation of key processes, identification of key controls with a view to streamlining processes to improve efficiency and automation
- Review key processes to identify and address efficiency gains through adoption of technology, automation or process re-engineering
- Ensuring effective operation of key process controls and the removal of manual interventions and excel based trackers
- Supporting the integration of acquired businesses into the Group
- Providing expertise in financial transactions
- To lead specific projects to improve efficiency or take a lead role in Group wide projects contributing as a senior leader and through the direct team
- Engaging colleagues at all levels in the Group to encourage process consistency across the Group
- Ability to lead and restructure to create a high performing team
The successful Candidate will possess extensive experience of managing Transactional Finance teams, covering AP, AR, Credit Control and Revenue Recognition. They will be a Professionally Qualified individual who challenges the status-quo, and always drives improvement, efficiency and high performance.
Our Client is offering a salary of £65,000 - £70,000 (Pro-Rata for 6 Month FTC)
