Accounts Assistant

RECfinancial are currently recruiting exclusively for this Leicester based client as they look to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. This is a cracking role for a candidate looking for a new challenge.
The role of Accounts Assistant will see you report into an experienced and passionate Finance Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of the purchase and sales ledger. It will also will involve the following:

• Process and manage supplier invoices (approx. (Apply online only
• Completing regular supplier reconciliations
• Managing and creating supplier payments
• Verifying new supplier bank details
• Generating ad-hoc customer invoices (approx. 50-100)
• Reconciling multiple balances
• Reconcile bank transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Assisting the finance team with ad-hoc reporting
• Staff expenses (cash & credit card)

The role is varied but would suit a candidate that has strong Purchase ledger skills as a foundation and that may currently doing a similar role but wanting a new challenge.
The position also works closely with the Financial Accountant and the Finance Director.
You'll need to pay strong attention to detail, have strong system skills including Excel. Knowledge of Sage or Xero is also advantageous.
