Currently, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Children's Registered Manager for a learning disability or Emotional and Behavioural Disorder (EBD) home.
Job Description: As the Children's Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of exceptional care and support for children with learning disabilities or EBD. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a safe and nurturing environment, and fostering positive relationships with residents, staff, families, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a dedicated team of support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and training as necessary.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs and aspirations of each resident.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures, promoting the welfare and protection of vulnerable children.
- Maintain effective communication channels with external agencies, including local authorities, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Uphold the highest standards of care delivery, promoting dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
Requirements: - Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within a similar setting, ideally with children with learning disabilities or EBD.
- Hold a relevant qualification in social care, such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Care Services or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
