Management Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support in the delivery of a robust governance and control environment.

Coupled with experience of delivering accurate and timely financial information within a manufacturing company, if you have an eye for detail, can work to and achieve key milestones, and can maintain strong business partnerships, this is for you.

Your role:

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Support with cashflow review and reporting
• Produce reforecasts and support production of annual budgets
• Complete VAT returns
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting
• Stock and asset management
• Develop and implement systems and controls in support of assuring effective financial and management controls

Your background:

• Experience as a Management Accountant is key
• Qualified by experience / qualified desirable (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
• Proven experience carrying out similar duties is essential
• Understanding of current UK HMRC financial regulations
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
• Able to work to tight deadlines and to communicate effectively at all levels
• Confident communication skills to build and maintain strong business partnerships
