Alecto Recruitment are working with an MCS registered business and go to installer for new Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, Inverter Upgrades and Battery Storage, who are looking to recruit a Solar PV Installer due to expansion.

The Role:

Based from the Midlands, the job will involve working as part of a two-man team installing, maintaining and upgrading solar PV and associated systems in customer homes around England.

Working within a 2-hour commute from Leicester with occasional nights away, the bulk of the role will involve service, maintenance, fault fining and commissioning of already installed solar PV systems and batteries on residential homes, with a typical systems being 4-5kW in size.

Installations will involve working on roofs and from a ladder, so successful candidates will need to demonstrate previous experience of working at heights using a ladder, as well as strong electrical competence.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified electrician, 18th Edition, Test & Inspect, AM2.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Minimum 2 years experience installing Solar PV systems
• Minimum 2 years working experience as a qualified electrician
• Ideally you'll be based Birmingham, Leicester, Northampton area.
