Are you an experienced sales professional with strong leadership skills looking for your next challenge? Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing company in Leicester, is seeking a Team Leader to manage and guide a small team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). This role is perfect for an individual passionate about coaching others, driving performance and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
As a Team Leader, you ll oversee a team of 2 SDRs, ensuring they meet and exceed targets while nurturing their personal and professional growth. This is a hands-on role where you will not only lead by example but also contribute to the sales development process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of 2 SDRs to achieve individual and team targets.
- Oversee daily activities including outreach via phone calls, emails and other communication channels.
- Assist SDRs in evaluating and qualifying leads by understanding customer needs, budgets and timelines.
- Support the team in building strong relationships with potential clients, guiding them through the sales process and communicating the company s value proposition.
- Monitor the team's use of CRM tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions and progress.
- Provide training and ongoing professional development to the team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop sales strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and set actionable goals for team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally in B2B sales, with leadership or mentoring experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and capable of motivating others.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing data to drive decisions.
